There's something uniquely intimate about photographing people with a Leica M camera. This personal project, "You and My M" is my tribute to this remarkable camera system and the connections it helps create between photographer and subject.
Through this series, I'm documenting friends, colleagues, and clients using my Leica M cameras. Each portrait tells not just the story of the person being photographed, but also captures the special relationship between photographer, subject, and this timeless instrument.
The Leica M system has been my trusted companion throughout my photographic journey. Its mechanical precision, optical excellence, and minimalist approach have shaped not only how I shoot but how I interact with my subjects. The rangefinder experience creates a different kind of portrait session - one where the camera doesn't become a barrier between photographer and subject, but rather a bridge connecting us.
Each portrait in this series is more than just an image; it's a moment of connection, a shared experience between myself, my subject, and my beloved Leica M. The simplicity of the camera system allows for a more direct, personal interaction, resulting in portraits that feel genuine and unposed.

Through this ongoing series, I hope to share not just the portraits themselves, but also the unique experience of creating images with a camera system that has become an extension of my photographic vision.
Note: If you'd like to be part of this project, feel free to reach out. Every portrait adds another chapter to this visual story of connection through photography.
